Mid year

Well how the year fly's by. Its nice to take a break from Speedbox for a while. Its almost time to get back on the horse and move forward with the next season. Wow season 5, After year one I wasn't sure there would be a year two let alone five!

We have a great list of live streams to target this year. NZ Stockcar Champs, World 240s, NZ Superstock Champs, Superstock Teams Champs and a new one - NZ Stockcar Teams Champs. These are all just targets at this stage and formal negotiations will begin soon.

Its unfortunate but there will need to be some price increases. I still have not reached a revenue stream that is sustainable, we are getting close tho. I believe the price will rise to $25 for most and maybe $30 for the Teams Champs. I accept that some people will be annoyed by this but I really don't have a choice. If you cant be there in person then its still a great deal if your internet can handle it.

We did test a higher than normal stream quality at the Teams Champs earlier this year and it worked fine so we are most likely going to make that the norm. It was well received and as the internet here in NZ gets better we all seem to be getting higher speeds. My speed at home jumped a couple of weeks ago from 6mbps to 8 mbps. Who knows why but I'm not complaining!

Got to try and squeeze a few snow boarding trips in before summer too.
